This isn’t the exact Bier Bike we saw since I didn’t think to take a photo, but you get the idea. The boys on the Bier Bike were laughing and having what looked like a party. All of them were sitting on their bike seat, beer in hand pedaling along. There was music blaring. It was like a club on wheels.

Jokingly I said, “Oh look, you can have your beer and exercise at the same time.”

Without missing a beat, BigZabba says,

Do you think that is a convenience thing?

The girls have been very interested in the story, especially LittleZabba. She was very excited when it became clear that Gilbert “liked” Anne Shirley. She giggled every time they would talk, or when Gilbert would give Anne “that” look.

The credits rolled with Gilbert and Anne walking together. LittleZabba let out a big sigh, and said,

That’s the end!? Dang. I wanted to see them kiss.

She went to the cupboard and decided to she wanted to try something new. She chose crackers with the spreadable cheese. She doesn’t normally like cheese, so I was surprised when she wanted to try it. When she opened it she asked,

Oh, do I dip the cracker in the cheese?

I responded, “They mean for you to use the stick and spread the cheese on yourself.”

With a stunned look she said,

I have to spread the cheese on myself?

This weekend is BigZabba’s birthday. Today we were talking about what kind of snack she would like to take to school on Friday to celebrate with her class. Because of school rules it has to be a store bought snack with no nuts, due to an allergy in the class. I suggested Oreo cookies, but BZ said that she wanted something that reminded everyone of Thanksgiving, since her birthday is close to Thanksgiving. Her suggestion was

a hard, dry cookie, to remind us of the land the pilgrims lived on.

Sounds appetizing doesn’t it?!
