Today LittleZabba turned 3 years old. We had a small birthday party for her yesterday. The day started out with dreary clouds and rain, but by the time the first guests arrived the sky was blue and the ground was mostly dry. The kids, and even some adults, had fun in the boucer…even though it was a little damp inside. We feasted on carne asada tacos prepared by DaddyZabba himself! We ate, we played, we opened gifts and we sang. It was a really fun day.
We wanted to make today special for her, since today is her actual birthday. LittleZabba is a huge fan of balloons, so last night while she was sleeping we filled 45 helium balloons and filled her room. This morning she woke up and came in our room and said,
Daddy, my woom is full ov bawoons.
The fun activity tonight before going to bed? Popping all the bawoons.

Last night we were driving home from ShaSha’s house after a fantastic Thanksgiving day. The Zabbas always need a snack bag from ShaSha to have in the car on the way home. She filled their bag with goldfish crackers, dried fruit, and peanuts. LittleZabba asked if her cousin G could have nuts like she was having. We said, no she can’t have any nuts at all. Her response,
Today we were out running errands and LittleZabba was getting frustrated. Her frustration quickly turned into arguing. I said, “That sounds a lot like arguing.” Her response,
One year ago AllyZabba had a contest to see who could decipher LittleZabba speak. One of the videos was of LittleZabba dancing. We edited the video to make it shorter, and to cut out BigZabba’s gross display of food. The time has come to display the complete video in all its glory.

We have been having a nice vacation. During a fever free time yesterday we got outside and played in the snow. We threw snowballs, did some sledding, and even did a little slipping on the ice.
After sledding everyone had a nice rest time. When the girls got up, guess what…they both had a fever again! For the rest of the afternoon we sat on the couch, cuddled in the blankets, played Webkinz and watched I Love Lucy. It is amazing what a little TLC and some Webkinz will do for your attitude.
As apart of this trip we are celebrating BigZabba’s birthday. One of her favorite things to do is visit the zoo. We spent some time this morning walking around Moonridge Zoo. BigZabba’s favorite animal at the zoo today was the chinchilla, and the screech owl. LittleZabba’s favorite animal at the zoo was the mule deer.
The bald eagle was very impressive.
The screech owls were really cute. They almost didn’t look real.
BigZabba is quite the photographer. She must get her eye from her Dad.
It was nearly snack time and LittleZabba was getting cranky. Time to go.
